Texoma Regional Chorus (“TRC”) may photograph or record rehearsals, performances, concerts, community appearances, social gatherings, and other activities associated with the Chorus. Photographs and video recordings may be used to document the activities and history of TRC and to communicate and promote the Chorus and its activities.

Authorized Uses

With a member's authorization, TRC may use photographs and video recordings in which the member is identifiable for legitimate organizational and promotional purposes, including:

• The official Texoma Regional Chorus website
• Official TRC social media accounts
• Concert programs, posters, flyers, and other printed materials
• Newsletters and organizational communications
• Advertising and promotion of TRC performances, auditions, membership, and activities
• Fundraising and nonprofit promotional materials
• Historical and archival records of the Chorus

Authorization applies to qualifying photographs and video recordings created before or after the date authorization is signed, including existing photographs and recordings maintained or previously published by TRC.

Editing and Presentation

TRC may crop, resize, format, edit, or otherwise prepare authorized photographs and video recordings as reasonably necessary for publication or presentation.

TRC will not knowingly use authorized media in a manner intended to falsely represent the member, place the member in a misleading context, or imply an endorsement unrelated to TRC and its activities.

No Sale of Likeness

TRC will not sell or license an individual member's name, image, or likeness to an outside party for that party's independent commercial use.

This does not prevent TRC from working with photographers, printers, website providers, social media platforms, news organizations, venues, or other service providers or organizations as reasonably necessary to publish, distribute, document, or promote legitimate TRC activities.

Member Choice

Authorization of identifiable media use is voluntary and is not a condition of membership in Texoma Regional Chorus.

Members who do not authorize identifiable media use are encouraged to inform TRC when photographs or recordings are being made so that reasonable efforts can be made to avoid or limit their identifiable appearance in material intended for publication.

TRC may photograph or record performances, rehearsals, or events involving groups of people. TRC will make reasonable efforts to respect the recorded media preference of members who have declined authorization.

Withdrawal of Authorization

A member who has previously authorized media use may notify the TRC Board that they wish to withdraw their authorization.

Withdrawal will apply to future uses after TRC receives the request. TRC will make reasonable efforts to discontinue future publication or reuse of identifiable media featuring that member.

Withdrawal may not result in the removal or recall of materials that have already been printed, distributed, published, shared, archived, or incorporated into previously produced materials.
